Installing Dokuwiki is very easy as Dokuwiki doesn't require a database. Instead, Dokuwiki uses files on the filesystem to store the wiki data. This makes it very easy to move and even backup. Follow these steps to install Dokuwiki.

Installation Steps

First, go to https://www.dokuwiki.com and then click on the Download button.

On the Download page, you can click the download button to download the latest stable version or you can customize your download. For example, you may not need all the languages. You can select only the languages you will need. You can also choose to add some extra plugins that will come bundled. You may want to include the Upgrade plugin to make future upgrades easier. If you don't select any of these plugins, you can add them later on.
