If you need to reload your OS, our IPMI proxy will not let you load your own ISO. As a courtesy, we have loaded several ISOs for several Linux distros including sysrescuecd. If you need an ISO we don't provide, please provide the ISO as a URL in a support ticket and our team will load it for you.
To boot from media, select Virtual Media and Virtual Storage. Follow these steps:
- Open the Virtual Media menu and select Virtual Storage.
- Select CDROM&ISO tab (if available) otherwise Device 1 tab. Select "ISO File" from the Logical Drive Type. Click on "Open" to open our ISO store.
- Double click the "ISOs" folder.
- Select the ISO file that you would like to load on your server and click "Open".
- Click on "Plug in". It may take a minute or two for the ISO to load over the network.
- Make sure Connection Status History says "Plug in Success!" and click on "OK".
- Reboot your server and boot from the Virtual CDROM drive. You may have to press F11, F9, or ESC depending on the model of server.
