How to setup and use Site Quality Monitoring

If you have a cPanel shared hosting account, you can utilize the Site Quality Monitoring tool to check your website automatically. To set up the Site Quality Monitoring tool, follow the following steps:

First, login to your cPanel account. Once logged in, click on "Site Quality Monitoring" from the side bar or under "Metrics" from the main tools page.

On the setup page, select the domain that you would like to monitor and the email address that notifications should be sent to.

Keep in mind that this is an external service so NodeSpace will be sharing the email with the external service. Click on Create Project to continue. Creating the project will take a few minutes. You'll then need to obtain a security code from your email address provided.

This email will look something like this:

Insert the code back in the cPanel tab and click on Activate.

cPanel will then setup your website for monitoring.

Once setup, you'll see some initial reports. Hover over a section to see additional reports. Click on a section to see the full report.

The full report will go into further details and show you scores.

Specific sections will have different ways to configure thresholds and reporting and will show more specific details.

Note: You can currently only monitor one website in your account. If you need additional monitoring or advanced monitoring, please consider adding 360 Monitoring.
