It's generally a good idea to keep a full backup of your hosting account and keep it on your laptop or stored in a cloud provider. Please note, this backup is primarily for restoring your entire account to a cPanel server. Login to cPanel and click on Backup.

Then click on the button that says "Download a Full Account Backup". Depending on the size of your account, this may take a few minutes to complete. You will receive an email notification when your backup is ready to download.

Remember to delete your backup once you have downloaded it! Full account backups are stored as zip files in your account's home directory and count towards your disk quota.
