How do I add an email account?

First, login to cPanel either directly or from My NodeSpace.

Locate "Email" which is generally at the top of cPanel. Click on "Email Accounts"

Click on Create. Then add details for the email account:

Set a secure password! The most common issue to accounts being suspended or email accounts being disabled is due to a compromised password. If you let your users set a password, make sure they keep their password secure.

You'll be able to set a quota under optional settings. The default quota is 1 GB. We do not recommend setting unlimited. This can cause your web hosting disk space quota to fill up. Email accounts do count towards your web hosting disk space quota.

We also recommend sending a welcome email with instructions on how to setup this email account. This email will be sent to the email account and can be viewed in webmail.
