How to install cPanel

If you ordered a dedicated or VPS server with cPanel, it will be installed for you during the server provisioning process.
If you purchased cPanel afterwards, connect to your server via SSH and run the following command:

cd /home && curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest

This command will change to the /home directory, download the cPanel installation script, and begin the install process. If you are not comfortable with this, we provide complimentary cPanel installation with licenses obtained through us. Just open a support ticket. Our managed server addon is not required for this service.

Important: We recommend that cPanel only be installed on a fresh OS installation and not on a server with existing data. If you wish to move to a server with cPanel, request cancellation of your existing server through the My NodeSpace customer portal and then use cPanel to import the websites from your old server on your new server. If you wish to keep your existing server, take a backup of all data and then import the sites after cPanel has been installed
